2018.11.05 Monitoring the Panayakpan Shores

Thanks to Mana Nora Mosende for sharing the photos of the Panayakan Tree Planting Site she took last November 5, 2018. The trees featured here were from the 2006, 2013, and 2015 tree planting projects. It is so overwhelming to see the beautifully lined up trees towering 10 meters to 30 meters high. This year, this has become an Ecotourism Place and was made a Boy Scout Jamboree site of the Province of Surigao del Norte. May our 60+km lakeshore become full of trees and a destination for our ecotourism especially our young generations.

I am personally heartened and so pleased to know and very thankful to Tambayayong Mainit, Inc (TMI), Mainitnon Incorporated (MI) and concerned citizens of Mainit and Brgy Tagbuyawan for the additional trees planted along the Mainit Lakeshore in Tagbuyawan Area last October 27, 2018

MABUHAY an mga Lake Mainit eco-warriors!!!

This brings the area reforested into 4... Panayakpan (Western Shore, Brgy Quezon, Mainit), Bitan-ag (Eastern Shore, Brgy Quezon, Mainit), Barangay Anahaw, Alegria and now Brgy Tagbuyawan, Mainit. Hinay hinay pero kanunay. Matimuy ay ra ini. One day... we will see that the entire 60+km stretch of our Lake Mainit shores will be a field for eco tourism... jogging... camping... picnic destination. LESDODIS, PLEASE!
